Trainee will be assigned a Supervising Solicitor (“Supervisor”) who will allocate training assignments, supervise their training and provide feedback on their performance. Trainee can also expect to receive training assignments from other partners and lawyers of the firm. This is so that they would have the benefit of observing and learning from a diversity of styles and approaches.
If the placement is with our Disputes department, the trainee will have exposure to suitable litigation and arbitration work.
If the placement is with our Corporate department, the trainee will have exposure to suitable work on regulatory and advisory work.
The trainee will be asked prior to the commencement of the placement to sign a confidentiality undertaking. Involvement in matters will be subject to confirmation that there will be no conflict of interest.
