Prior to the tee-off, the Malaysians hosted a generous welcome cocktail and buffet dinner at the Royal Selangor Club on Thursday,

The next day a late morning thunderstorm failed to dampen spirits. Heads of Delegation and Secretary-General Charles Lim gave away the prizes, most of which were determined by lucky draw! Host Malaysia emerged the team champion. ALA Malaysia generously hosted a dinner at Justice Dato’ James Foong’s residence situated at the Tropicana Golf Resort itself. The dinner was attended by President, ALA, Justice Chao Hick Tin and former President, ALA, T P B Menon.
